Anesthesia Implications
Position: Supine, arms at side on armboards
Time: 30-60 min (short)
Blood Loss: Very Low (5-10 ml)
Post-op Pain: Minimal (1-3)
Maintenance Paralytic: No

The Anesthesia
At the end of the surgery, a simple ‘shoe’ will be placed. When planning for the wakeup, there’s no need to account for the time they take to do this. The patient can be awake during that part of the procedure.
